Because I do have a story in Seducing My Bestie, along with seven other Passionate Ink authors. Because I think you’ll love it. Because the proceeds go to a great cause.
Passionate Ink is a not-for-profit writers’ organization with members around the world. The group has been part of my writing journey almost from the beginning, and I’ve participated in their annual anthology for the past six years.
Their anthology project is unique. Members of any experience level and publishing status can participate. The stories are put through three rounds of editing, both paired critique and professional. For pre-published authors, it may be their first experience with professional editing. The organization pays for the costs to produce the book—cover, editing, marketing—but 100% of the proceeds go to support ProLiteracy.
As an author who received a ton of support when I started, this is my chance to pay it back to emerging authors. As an author who loves readers, this is my opportunity to support an organization that helps people become readers.
